Flamingo Therapeutics is a newly created, early stage spin-off company from institutions in Belgium and the US, which has recently secured substantial funding from venture capital investors to develop novel treatment options for various cancers, focusing on long non-coding RNA. Flamingo has multiple positions available at a Project Manager, Scientist (post-doc) and Technician level at its location in Leuven, Belgium.

Research Associate (postdoc level) in vivo pharmacology

This role focuses on the planning, design, follow up and interpretation of in vivo cancer studies in rodent models (PDX and potentially other types of models). In addition, you will assist in pharmacological treatment of rodents and tissue processing steps, including histological and RNA quantitation procedures.

Scientist (postdoc or project manager level) in vitro pharmacology

This role is a hands-on role, where you are responsible for the development of screenable and reproducible cellular assays (cell proliferation, cell death, migration, …) in various (2D and 3D) in vitro cancer models, including assay design, validation and troubleshooting.
