The University of Miami Miller School of Medicine’s Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology has an opportunity for a Post-Doctoral Associate under the supervision of Dr. Stephen Lee, Professor of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. Research for this project will focus on adaptation to the tumor microenvironment, by expression of stress-responsive long noncoding RNA. These long noncoding RNA mediate changes in protein dynamics and represent a novel and ubiquitous form of post-translational regulation.
The minimum qualifications for this position are as follows: Ph.D. with a background studying any aspect of RNA structure, regulation or function. Any relevant education, certifications and/or work experience may be considered.
